Why am I doing the GoUni project?
The world of cryptocurrency is a very cool place. It can be great for some or could be non-forgiving for others. For some users, this could be the first experiencing trading, or you could be just here for the hype. But what I've learnt over the few years I've been in the world of crypto is, that this place is full of opportunities. Surely you have to work very hard, and with a bit of luck, anything can happen. Anything.
So I decided to test the limitations of the crypto space and the community to pull off a very life-changing task. Surely it would take a lot of hard and multiple hours of work; might have to message more than a thousand people personally; might even have to publish hundreds of posts in forums. But, it's all worth it because it would change my life. A lot. A Really lot.
My current status is that I am an undergraduate student. I would prefer not to mention my name currently but you could call me Mitsuha, a character that I like. I am currently in the final year of my engineering degree that I undertake at present. I would love to learn more and hopefully make a good impact on my industry with my knowledge and curiosity.
However, my current financial situation does not allow me to pursue this next stage efficiently. Therefore, I started this project with the goal of raising 1000 SOL coins (approx $170,000 at current prices) to allow me to take on further education with minimal disruption. While this is a quite large sum that I am planning to raise, it would allow me to go to a separate country and start a new life. It would also partly fund an interesting part of this project as mentioned in detail below.
While this is a far-fetched goal and a very hard task to complete, it would also change my life greatly. And you could be a part of that.
Why haven't I put my details?
This is a very sensitive topic for me. I know that the fact that I am not fully able to fund my higher education is not something to be ashamed of, but it is also not something I would like to openly discuss with my peers or the media.
Also, many crypto projects have thrived even if their creators were not public about who they are. And I feel that the crypto space also is one of the only places you could pull off something like this and that's why it makes it so unique.
Also if you are curious, please don't be and kindly respect my privacy. I would one day like to surely tell this story to everyone, to tell how a fun (or even a little crazy) crypto project changed my life. Till that day, see you around.
